On December 26, China’s first zero-emission high-power dual-source electric shunting locomotive rolled off the assembly line at CRRC.
The locomotive adopts an electric-batery hybrid power supply mode to meet the design requirements of green and zero emissions. At the same time, it applies advanced and reliable traction electric drive integration technology, which not only improves the efficiency of the locomotive, but also saves more than 20% of energy compared with traditional internal combustion shunting locomotives.
The lithium battery system of the locomotive adopts a fire detection system and an automatic fire extinguishing system for double protection, effectively reducing the risk of fire.
