On December 12, 2020, the first electric EMU of the Zhejiang Jinhua-Yiwu-Dongyang Municipal Rail Transit Project was off the assembly line of CRRC Changsha. It is the first 120km/h third-rail B-type EMU in China, and made a lot of innovations in the strength of the car body, the bogie, air tightness, and network control according to the characteristics of the line. The excellent performance and economy of subway vehicles can be called a model of the combination of high speed train and subway technology.
The vehicle adopts an all-aluminum alloy body, with a total of 6 vehicles per train. The front of the train adopts the “standard” aluminum alloy skin + plate beam structure of the high speed train, and is made through a new processing technology of superplastic forming. The project uses the 120-140km/h speed grade bogie with better dynamic performance and curve passing ability.
